Our meets

The group runs two different meetings per month:

1. Virtual Meetings usually on the second Saturday of each month.
2. Physical Meetings, usually on the fourth Saturday of each month.

The virtual meetings usually include a couple of clinics which we are happy to open up to non-members – this session is normally scheduled for 10.00am and is followed by a separate Members business meeting.

Important notes about our meets

We ask that anyone attending follows current public health guidelines for their own safety. We hold our physical meets at the St. Osyth Village Hall, Clacton Road, St. Osyth Essex, CO16 8PE. Our usual schedule is:

Arrival around 09:00am
Setup both layouts by around 11:00am
Lunch at 01:00pm (for approximately 1 hour)
A typical pack up start time around 3:30pm at the latest

Our N scale and HO scale layouts are normally set-up for the day, however there is always a chance either setup may be down for maintenance, especially before or a few months after public events such as our Summer Open House or if the modules have been invited to exhibitions.
