Peverel OH.

A Thamesiders mainline standard module by Tom Fisher.

My two part module is named Peverel after our previous meeting location. Purchased from ex member Tim Mercer, it incorporates one board originally built by Chris Coombes.

The location is roughly Midwest Ohio, and portrays a small town in the 1950’s with a diner, and medium industry. Railroad facilities include a station (or depot) an interlocking tower, water tower, a small passing loop and a lay by track.

Many buildings are lit and street lighting and working crossing lights are provided all fed from an independent 9VDC supply. Points are currently powered from the track supply and feature Tortoise slow motion motors fed from an NCE Switch8 stationary decoder.

Optional leg extenders have now been produced to provide the 45” track height when required.

Installation of the new signalling system is planned.
